My D3 died last night

Big Cry Big Cry Disco taken away on the back of a recovery truck, after aloud rattling noise coming from the engine it came to a halt. Contacted landrover assistance, who where great they had the recovery truck their in about an hour. Stratstone contacted me this morning saying they were not sure what it was and that they couldn't get it started. So maybe will get more joy tomorrow. Hire car is better than it has been in the past, enterprise managed to get me a 57 plate SE spec D3 in buckingham blue Thumbs Up. The last car I got was a Vauxhall corsa. Hope I get better news tomorrow.

Reading the feedback on Stratstone, you'll need to help them out. Start by telling them it's a Land Rover. The letters on the back indicate the model.

Thumbs Up

Better selection down there than up in Aberdeen! Won't go anywhere near Town & County Aberdeen

Be interesting if you can get any information out of LR about the cause of the failure once they've taken the engine apart for a postmortem.
