| Car Serviced and ARBs done! |
|
Had my car serviced today at 50,000 miles cost was 470.00 Euro including use of a Freelander 2 which i thought was very good all by main dealer.. I also had them look at the feedback through steering issue I was having and jiggly front end. They replaced both of the front ARB bushes. Car does seem much smoother as a result and ride doesnt seem to be as rattly over bumps..I also had issues where the car was difficult to start in cold weather they put this down to a loose connection to the glowplugs so not sure if they got that one right unless they were able to simulate freezing conditions within the workshop time will tell! Would need an itemised list to compare S
Not being smart but there are different service schedules. But I'd definitely say that they are cheaper than Autoboland.I think Googsy get his at Chapmans in Kildare where he purchased. Don't take life me too seriously ..... it's I'm not permanent

Ah yes, I was thinking along the lines of basic service - oil/ filters etc.
Didnt really sound like a Bolands price come to think of it

Had it done by Stuarts just in case !
Chapmans you must be kidding after my Range Rover purchase some years ago never again and I mean never . I bought my Disco from Stuarts and had it serviced there. although I arbs done im still not certain all is well with the front end still a little jiggly! Must ask Marcon if I could drive his new 07 to compare or vice versa as hes on 19s also. want to get it sorted before warrantys out in August. After warrantys out I would highly highly recommend Kings 4x4 in Wicklow Town.
As a mater of reference they detailed it as 72000km service which included the following from memory
Oil
Oil filter
fuel cleaner
Pollen Filter
air Filter
Labour
I can show you the receipt if you like Tanters Googsy
