How much do you reckon 13 railway sleepers will weigh (Length 2.6m, Width 260 mm, Depth 160mm)?
They look like reclaimed originals. Black Betty Tunisia 1 2 3 Power by

Young Derek - it is not good enough in an exam to just write the answer - we need to see the working out, to get the full marks Steve N (qzd)

It was that number that flummoxed me Steve N (qzd)

Good quality old hardwood sleepers tend to "float" just below the surface, so just over 1, new softwood sleepers tned to float with just a little showing (until they are waterlogged), so just a little under 1.
Rotten old sleepers just fall to bits so of no use at all. Rob Smith

If they are wood, they may well be full of oil, diesel & and possibly tar.....so this nice concoction will gradually seep back out of them when they get wet if they are not fully sealed !!! 2007 TDV6 HSE 'Silver Lady'. With 'free' privacy glass LOL.
