I can't remember the price (or maybe I have deliberately forgotten!) Anyway, I had a vey similiar experience - fully functionial (incl sound) on CD or AUX, looked good on radio (either band) but no sound. I took it to the dealer, diagnonis was inconclusive, although "its got the latest software".
