Long term issues with D3

Been looking and thinking about some long term issues and one that stands out becides all the others mentioned is all the sealed bearings and the sealed uni joints , cv joints, I think the cv joints can be luberacated with dificulty, how Question The prop shafts are a bit of concerne especially the uni joint on the rear, it is non greasable and looks non replaceable without replacring the whole tail shaft, ie uni joint is permently fixed in . On vechles used off road a lot especially in wet and dust these will fail prematuly if not regually greased.
This may be modified when needed in the future to have sirclips etc but what about the cv on the other end Question
The tailshaft has a uni joint one end and a cv the other end, very strange combination Shocked also unijoints are not well suited to fixed shafts especially if they have no angle, they tend to ware on the needle rollers if they cant roll a bit. also it is usual to have two uni joints fitted at opposing angles to help counteract their uneven action. That is why cv joints are used a lot, but they should not be mixed with cv joints on the same shaft. This is done on the D3 Shocked
Maybe someone with moor of an engneering background could comment

Aren't the uni end-caps held in with circlips? I don't have one to look at, but the picture of the tailshaft in the workshop manual suggests that there are circlips. If so, then why not just replace the non-greasable uni with a greasable one (as I did on my D2 front tailshaft) before it fails.

Greame.
Mine has no sirclips, it has been punched in to burr the caps in, I have seen this on other vechles and they are also pressed in with a interference fit usually Shocked
