Evening Lads
Not home long and am completely bushed after this weekend. From the camping Saturday night to the off roading today I had a ball but pretty wrecked now.
Thanks again to DW for his recces and for sorting today for us, outstanding
To Will for lending me his nuts.... ......and bolts ! and for the rest of you for just being good craic
& of course Barry for all his stories
Great to meet up with Matt and his crew also, hope the trip was worth it for ya. I know the christening was just a clever cover
Looking forward to seeing the photos
'til next time

Ditto.
Brilliant weekend lads Bit of a lesson in offroading and learned a lot.First time we had a taste of everything , waffle boards , bridge building , winching ,etc etc etc , great stuff.
A big THANK YOU to , IFWDC Ivor Clegg and his lads , Norman , Ed etc etc Hope they'll have us back again . As they said as we were leaving , we've only seen half of whats to offer.
Really enjoyed the camping end of things aswell , a great laugh. Now at least we have a spot if when we return again.
Cheers also to Matty ( Disconutter) , Richard & Daffid ( sp?) for coming along , you're welcome back anythime bud and maybe you'll take a few of the other UK lads over with you aswell.I hope you enjoyed the day .Sorry I didn't get your PM's but we had zero coverage where we were
Brass Balls award goes again to Willie , he should have gone first out of those beech trees , at least then none of the rest of us would have had to circle that tree stump
Edit : Thanks also to Ryan for the entertainment
Here's to the next one
now who was taking the pics ?............................. Don't take life me too seriously ..... it's I'm not permanent

It was my first weekend off-roading in Ireland - it was a blast from start to finish.
Serious gratitude to Diarmuid for organising the weekend and everyone else for the crack and good times.
Thanks to Tanters for the Hot Dogs - they were a life saver with the beer. Thanks to Will for scaring Ivor and the lads with his "technical" driving capabilities. Thanks to Matty for going first and showing us the way.
Thanks to Ivor, Norman, Ed and the lads - they took really good care of us - it was the most organised off roading day out I have had outside of landrover organised ones. Given how helpful they were and what good crack they were - I would go back in the morning. They put in a hard days work - we will have to get them to do less the next time
I have some video which I will edit and post as soon as I can.
Cant wait to see some pics.

Lads, ye are making me jealous
BarryG was telling me that they are always good craic, unfortunately work committments didn't permit me to go,
From the responses, its fairly evident that promises were certainly lived up to!
Count me in for the next one

Lads,
I too was bushed by the time we got back to Baltinglass last night - but what a great day. I can honestly say it was a blast, we really enjoyed the day, so many thanks for organising it DW and Ivor, and the irish D3 team for the welcome - THANK YOU!!!
I'll get some pictures sorted in the next days, seem to be a few good ones in there. Look forward to making in another time - but this time someone else can be the guinea-pig. Well at least we all gave Ivor and the lads a demo of the vertures of having a Takla Air Jack
Don't forget to take a look at Boughrood next time you venture over the water - next event is 6th & 7th Sept and I think you'd all enjoy it's challenges (and there are water obstacles as well ) - here's a link to the sign up : http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic22519.html Powered by............................

Hi Guys
Really enjoyed the day and had a ball Saturday night.Learned a lot from the IFWDC lads and great to see the G4(Marcus) winching(I won't mention who ) .
Was a bit worried about bringing Ryan(age 9) but everyone was great with him,so thanks all for that. (He now wants to join the site )
DISCOWEX......thanks again for organizing the event,I know the time and effort you put into making sure you got a good route and camping area for us and the loss of sleep worrying if everyone would enjoy it.All I can say is
