Hi Norto and Simon
Hope TDMP and family are ok, I'm actually jealour as Anne and I enjoyed our stay at Mt Dare and the area nearby.
Has he got Terry Sutton in Alice Springs chasing the radiator tank.
The parts I ordered via Alice Springs are all with me now except the battery. One of the AULRO people is taking it to Melbourne for me after the Finke race next weekend and I will collect it there.
Rgds all

Yes thank you all who attended the Flinders. I had a great time. The weather was magnificent.
Not a lot of mud around, as DSL said, but then it is the desert >75mm of rain/year.
I did not get speared by the locals either but a tyre did ($275 cooper less than 12 months old), terminally by a piece of gibber (local dialect for F N sharp, pointy and hard rocks).
Even had a good time at the Geologist's symposium, in Daylesford, on the way home. (Met up with SWMBO after having not seeing her for 2 1/2 weeks ). Did you think I would leave you crying,
When there's room in my D3 for 7,
Climb in here Joe we'll soon be flying,
I can go just as fast with 7.

Hi Simon,
Just getting around to catchingup on some of the older posts - been frantically busy. You've got some really great shots there - looks like it was a really great trip - very jealous. Been to most of the places in your photos and you've really captured them well. What sort of fuel economy did you average towing the camper?
Cheers,
