Hello,
Does anyone know if the wood effect trim can be retrofitted (the proper LR one not the stick-on ebay stuff) to an 06MY car?
If so, does anyone have an inerior shot with beige/alpacca to give me an idea of what it might look like please?
Thanks,
John TDV6 SE Auto, Cairns Blue

Gary,
I fitted mine myself. I just wiped everything down with the sterile wipes, then heated with a hair dryer and stuck them on. See below:
My only gripe is that the Center Console doesn't exactly fit with the two airvents above. Sorry about the photo just took it with my phone at traffic lights.

Nice YB,
Looks great - its the first time I have seen with Alpaca - same as mine.
Did you have to do any reshaping to get them to fit or not.
Cheers

I've retrofitted 08 style straight grain walnut to my MY06
Centre and end panels from ebay - genuine factory items , not stick on panels.
Used a straight edged replacement sourced from Nick (TLO)
Nick was great and even photographed the panel next to the dashboard before posting it! The panel is black on the Disco 3 and we thought that a dark grey one did not exist with square edges.
I dismantled the vents/switches and refitted them to the new panels.
Obviously the black is not perfect as the rest of the panel is dark grey but it just seems to match the buttons anyway. I had grown accustomed to the new look whan my mate drove around on Friday with his MY07 RRS.
Guess what? the upper panel on the RRS is straight edged and dark grey!! I took my old round edged panel out to his car and it is an exact match.
Awaiting a new one from nick hopefully- will post pics when I get home "its probably a virus, you'll be right as rain in a few days and if you're playing sport try to favour the other leg"

I dont think the black top panel looks too bad.........anyway for comparison..........
I think the new panels really lift the interior
I will take some more pics with the new dark grey top section when i can get it. [/img] "its probably a virus, you'll be right as rain in a few days and if you're playing sport try to favour the other leg"

GaryR,
No reshaping - you will fit them all in 10 mins. I used a hair dryer to heat the dash and the backs of the wood prior to fitting.
