Sadly not. The type of people the landowner is worried about do this kind of thing all the time and are better appraised of the law than most solicitors. The police can remove them if they break and enter, but it's astonishing how many times they (the squatters) arrived there to find the door already open and the locks missing (no fingerprint evidence).
While plod could try and drag them all away on suspicion that tends to require serious man power to do properly, with all the usual claims of injuries from nazi police officers blah blah blah from the great unwashed.
As a result it's usually left to the landowner to obtain an injunction to have them removed.
Where you can counter this with the landowner is to point out that most of the types who do this sort of thing turn up with caravans, campers et al and if they have an eye on the site will turn up regardless of the presence of the roundhouse.
Sorry I can't come up with any better ideas, but having seen the wheels of justice slide gracefully into the ditch at numerous pikey invasions in our neck of the woods I wouldn't want to offer up false hope. Carbon footprint? I neither know nor give a damn

I thought it was illegal to squat in a furnished building.
Put a couple of deck chairs in there 07 Silver TDV6 XS Manual + Tubes, Tints, White indicator repeaters, Xtreme H7s, LR dog Guard and Valeao Windy-Wipers

Do what one of the farmers did when they invaded his land, start spreading sillage from a tractor right through the middle of their camp. It is a good incentive to move out.

This is what my mate does to his land when the local gypo site gets invaded. It keeps the numbers down. In fact last time they were on the move and heading our way he got tipped off by the local police so he had a head start Remember there is no 'i' in disco3.co.uk

If all fails and the landowner isn't in agreement with keeping it up.
Agree that you'll take it down .... only if and when it gets occupied by Swampy and his mates.
I'm sure they'll then be happy to move out when you start precariously lifting the logs. slowly re-building my gallery after the wipe out !!!!

Why not hide a fine wire mesh cage with 2lb of raw prawns somewhere in there. You'd need a gas mask to remove before an event, but even someone with nostrils accustomed to the fragrance of Swampy's armpit would leave that alone.
The other option is based around the fact that it looks like the scaled up version of a well constructed camp fire Give a man a fire and he's warm for the day. But set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.
