To be fair I think the chairs aren't plastic, they look like they are cast alloy

Totally agree, I think they look like cast alloy!
Suppose plastic is easier to maintain, but they have no substance.
Now the cast alloy, you certainly know you got a chair.
Only thing is, you need to keep them painted regularly to stop any corrossion.
Plus you can change the colour anytime you want, you cann't do that with plastic!

The chairs only have 2 legs each so they only have stability in one direction. Definitely in need of a mod. And I dont think that the styling kit improves the look of the chairs at all ! There are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand binary, and those that do not
