Cheers guys PM'd 10forcash. The more I read, the more I look, the more I want to go. Spent the last 15 years using my legs to get around the world, spent time trekking in Morocco last year, Tanzania the year before, but now I can't wait to get all prep'ed up for a driving expedition. That much, I have already started getting toy's to add to the experience. Just the beer to go!!

Just got my renewal notice from LR Ins (just under £600 ), their policy booklet define Territorial Limits as UK, EU, Iceland, Liechtestein (actaully been there once), Norway, Croatia & Switzerland. No mention of Tunisia!!!
Phoned them up to say "Oi!!!" but turns out they do cover said Norf Affrican place. Phewwwwww. Honda Dog U better DUCK!!!!!

Anyone else (before declaring TT) was around £250 to £300 a year ago, Privelege quoted £550 with mods so no brainer, stick with LR Ins. Just never paid £600 for insurance in my life, even for a Boxter!! Honda Dog U better DUCK!!!!!

Disconutter wrote:....and they cover you off-road Got that in writing? Good insurer but when I was with them although saying I was covered off-road they were unable to provide any written proof of it, hopefully they now do
Not so common...
