Cheers guys PM'd 10forcash. The more I read, the more I look, the more I want to go. Spent the last 15 years using my legs to get around the world, spent time trekking in Morocco last year, Tanzania the year before, but now I can't wait to get all prep'ed up for a driving expedition. That much, I have already started getting toy's to add to the experience. Just the beer to go!!

Just got my renewal notice from LR Ins (just under £600 Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad ), their policy booklet define Territorial Limits as UK, EU, Iceland, Liechtestein (actaully been there once), Norway, Croatia & Switzerland. No mention of Tunisia!!! Shocked Shocked

Phoned them up to say "Oi!!!" but turns out they do cover said Norf Affrican place. Phewwwwww. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Anyone else (before declaring TT) was around £250 to £300 a year ago, Privelege quoted £550 with mods so no brainer, stick with LR Ins. Just never paid £600 for insurance in my life, even for a Boxter!! Big Cry Big Cry

Got that in writing? Good insurer but when I was with them although saying I was covered off-road they were unable to provide any written proof of it, hopefully they now do Confused

Not so common...
