No not in writing, but I have been given a case reference number, name of the manager I discussed this with, and the time and date of telephone conversation, which was recorded. It's worth bearing in mind that the CSMA have an off-road club and their members are covered on this policy for said use. Formerly Disconutter

I'm not saying you're not covered (they're a good company so you probably are) but I'd highly recommend you get it in writing just in case/before you have to claim. I'd say the same to anyone that's been told they've got off-road cover, having been down this road a couple of times and found that when you eventually get the written proof it's so restrictive it doesn't really cover you at all - MCE are a good example of this, avoid the lying b'stards and their claims of offering off-road cover like the plague
