I think this guy was using genuine 20" LR rims, so 53mm offset, but as the tyre was slightly taller being 50 or 55 series, the tyre touched the top suspension arm where it comes over the suspension upright. I thought I'd got an email from him, but must have deleted it.

I have a set of 275/50/R20 Continental UHP's on genuine V-spoke S/Charged rims and you could not get any bigger rubber under there. Its not so much the rubbing on the arch its part of the steering and suspension arm that would touch first. Is that your head or as your neck been sick?

I banged out a load of emails but no joy, no one seems to wanna know these tyres, and no value in shipping from the states.
Anyone else try?
I'm gonna get some new 265/70/ MT's for the 17's, if I can find some.
Plenty of mud around here at the mo anyway...so much for the summer!!
