Australia 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Auto Chawton White

Rob,

I enjoy a good long trip but do a lot of city time these days. With the weight of a D3 I take it easy, saves fuel and I am intent on getting a lot of distance from my D3 at the lowest possible cost.

All the best

Thanks Ian.

I think it really depends on which "city" we are talking about. Driving through Sydney or Melbourne is a lot different to driving through Canberra, Adelaide, Wagga Wagga, etc. Whistle

Cheers,
Rob

Disc Brakes Australia make several types of rotors for the D3, dont know about prices but I did notice that they list the thickness on the front as 30mm and rear as 20mm with a minimum reduction in thickness of only 3mm.

see http://www.dba.com.au/product_search_dev.p...492#search

My car has 96k so I must check it over soon, thats what you get from driving the beast.

Hi,

Yes rob. Sydney Canberra and Melbourne are my "turf", Sydney is the most patience testing by far, Canberra placid and Melbourne getting busier each year.

I used the DBA slotted rotors in the past, They make a small amount extra noise but work well.

All the best
