How about a few flourescent tubes "under the bonnet" - puts a lovely subtle blue glow around the floor? You could then detail the interior bits and pieces using glow in the dark cables, shiny metals fans and all that
But oh, you would not be able to see all this beautiful handiwork, so you need to put a window in the box so that we can see all your hard work. But why just a window - how about getting a laser etched window with your favourite LR emblem etched onto the glass?
Or even better, how about a custom "skin" - a wickedly cool picture of your favourite dungeons and dragons fantasy artwork, preferably featuring an unfeasibly handsome muscle bound chap and a lady with enourmous assets wearing as little clothing as possible whilst still allowing your mother to enter the room without blushing?
Now that's Engage Permagrin - check
Key in ignition - check
Turn key - check
Keep smiling....

Garyr... just so you know... you can run Windows without having to partition the HD. Parallels creates a disk image that expands and contracts depending on how much Windows storage you need. No need to re-boot at all. You can also run Mac and Windows apps in separate windows with certain virtualisation solutions.
Many developers write software for both platforms and include both binaries on the install CD/DVD.
I run lots of software too... but all on my Mac
And yes I agree - Macs are super cool and the better system

Dont want to add to the windows / mac debate but sod it I will.
Macs will run windows or linux within the mac os by using either parallels or vmware. Having said that I have changed to Macs and never looked back and dont bother with any windows programs now. I also got my 65 year old mother to change and she loves the lovely white colour
