Cooper STT 265/70/17 118/121Q
Cooper STT 285/70/17 118/121Q
I know of the 245 widths but has anyone ran on any of the above .I knew the 265 was available but the 285 option is new to me.Any experience ? Don't take life me too seriously ..... it's I'm not permanent

265 rubs on some so 285 will probably remove large chunks of the wheel arches
Not so common...

Si , I thank you
Ran with some 265 AT's for a few weeks with no probs but in saying thet , thay didn't have as aggressive a sidewall thread as the STT's have.Currently running on 295 generals with no rubbing.Hopefully I'll be ok with the 265's.
PS . got the steps from Uncle Ray yesterday , cheers Don't take life me too seriously ..... it's I'm not permanent

It's the 70 profile that's the issue more than the width, put the sizes in the calculator here to see what I mean, a 265/65 would be better

Sory Si , the all terrains I was using were a spurious brand which I couldn't/can't remember the makers name.I shouldn't have referred to them as AT's.Disnt mean to mislead Don't take life me too seriously ..... it's I'm not permanent

Did you get the 265/70/17 STT's in the end?
Anyone know where I can get them in Ireland or UK?
Goodyear Wrangler MT's,Geolander MT?
Seems hard to find a MT in this size or is it just me looking in the wrong places?
Anyone any tips?

Discowex:
just to add some mud to the water here on the 245/70/17STT the thread is 13mm but on an the 18" its only 10mm so this is not taken into the calculations in the tyre calculator so you will need to know the thread depth of the other tyres too to see if it will fit if you see what I'm on about .
