Speak to member 10forcash when he returns from Tunisia. If you send him a PM, he'll reply when he gets back it! It's got a load of black bits on OK!!!

I've had quote done on Friday last week from Sextons : http://www.sextons.co.uk/
Supply and fit 2 X 5.8" Kenwood screens in headrests.
2 X wireless headphones
DVD player installed in second row cup holders underneath chubby box (you obviously loose the use of the cup holders)
All for £1200.
I know the rossen replacement headrests are around £2,000 for a pair.
Jason at Sextons is a top guy and he knows his stuff, worth dropping him a call....... Previous: Defender 110 Double cab
Current: MY07 Discovery 3 XS

I think you'll find that Ten is doing the Rosen headrests for about £1000 so best wait till he gets back Dissy 3 HSE TDV6, with all the toys, but no DVD player like the last one, kids well off, JE Chip
A5 3.0l TDI
New Puma 90 in Stornoway Grey, with Winch, Snorkel, BFG's or Kumho KL71's, Intercooler, Bash plate, Old Man Emus, and more being added to every week including a dent.........

Thanks for all your feedback.
I'm closing a deal on a V8 SE Disco 3.
Nicely loaded - only option missing is DVDs for the kids....
The LR dealer tells me roof mounted DVD unit is not advisable with the pano sunroof option - "too heavy". He mentioned problems with the former Rosen factory roof unit option. Is that true? He's quoted me £1250 for two headrest installed DVD monitors - fitted (by an upholstery chap) "at cost". This is as "incentive" to close deal on a V8 SE Disco 3. How does that sound?
Again, thanks for all your tips! Looking forward to joining the fraternity.

Hi,
I'm just about to go and pick my HSE up having had the DVD and screens fitted. The way i've done it is 2 x 7" roof mounts (On the slope between aircon controls and vents) and one 7" screen on a slide out from the top glove box, single DVD player mounted in the bottom glove box, IR pick up for the remote, FM switch so sound can go through speakers plus 3 sets IR headphones all for roughly £1100. The headrest screens are pretty tiny and anyone in 3rd row can't see them.
Hope this helps, can't wait to go and see!!!! If you aren't living life on the edge, you're taking up too much space!!

Hi Paul,
Got it done at Car Radio of Preston, not picked her up yet they ran out of time but say the wait will be worth it.
I'm in Cardiff weekend of the 12th July if you want to have a look. If you aren't living life on the edge, you're taking up too much space!!

That would be good but I'm booked to drive to Paris that weekend with the new Disco V8.
Thanks for the input and enjoy your stay in Cardiff!

I have the Rosen roof mounted DVD with the HSE sunroof... Haven't had any problems with either... Touching large piece of wood!! The only problem with the centre mounted DVD I find is loss of visibility with rearview mirror. I fold down the centre seat to help when possible. Disco 3 TDV6 HSE
