This looks quite interesting. But how would it compare to torque tune?

I can't comment on how our tune would compare to another tuners.

A drag race will tell you nothing about driveability - just straight line acceleration. Not really what the D3 is about...!

well yes and no martin . Driveability aside some of us here approched the "tune" with a view
to increasing the performace of the D3 , that is to say reducung the 0-60 time
In my case ruducing the "Lag" before power came in .

I do appreciate seeing two D3's in a drag would be a bit strange "Not really what the D3 is about...!"
as you say . But none the less I would like to see a standard and tuned (various tunes) D3 go head to head in this
way.

But thats just me Wink

We have a Racelogic P-Box which can measure various times (0-60, 30-70 etc). It would be interesting to do some testing at some point.

Better wait for Ken and Mossy to comment, however you could read this thread about the JE v TC.

Hi,
This is just what I was looking for, not having to go back to dealer/tuning company and being able to choose which program you want loading, power or economy sounds great. Bit unfortunate you haven't got an economy program yet. Let me know when you do and I'll definitely take a look. Soon I hope.

Trev.
