I can remember reading about this episode on the BBC website, apparently after they finished shooting Clarkson jumped straight into a helicopter and headed back to London. The crew were left to pack things up, when they went to drive the car away they could not find the keys? Guess who’s pocket they were still in. Trust me, what could go wrong?

Good job LR who supplied the D3 had a spare key then
And on the way down, it never got stuck... actually it never got stuck on the way up either, apart from the staged ones that is - the Producer at the time (BBC chap) told me it was turning out to be a boring (TG wise) shoot, so staged the recoveries to give JC a chance to do some excellent survival techniques (buffoonery).

Back to Neil's original post... I've got a hooped strap at the rear of the 2nd row seat, I've only ever used that (even with a Harry it's not difficult) But I've never looked for a lever... Is it in the same area? Disco 3 TDV6 HSE

as you face the seat from the outside the lever is in front of you just under the seat base. never used it as the hoop is far more convenient and also helps to lift the seat.

by cargo barrier you mean the roller blind then yes. it is where it is stored when all the seats are folded and in the most downward position. if you have a look at the underside of the roller blind you will see two notches where it clips in.

I think this is a MY08 option, I noticed this on a loaner I had. I Also noticed that the middle head rest is redesigned so it can be fully dropped down. Trust me, what could go wrong?

Both the strap behind the seat base and the lever have been present since launch. Lever is easier as long as you know where to reach for it... its very low down.

I'm just a tadge over 5' so the lever is no problem for me It just took me a LONG time to realise what it was for! I've also used the space behind the 2nd row seats to store the cargo cover without realising there were 'special' clips for it... You live and learn.

It's just a small hoop at the rear of the second row seats... Odd if it's not there for the Oz market Disco 3 TDV6 HSE
