Permanent 12 volt supply

Hi All

I need to find a permanent 12 volt supply (up to 10 Amps) in the centre console area.
Is there a source I can splice into, or is it, running a new cable back to the battery?
If so whats the best route through the firewall/bulkhead ?

Thanks

Rob

Australia 2008 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Rimini Red

I prefered to run a fused supply direct from the battery so that there was no interference with the Disco electronics or power supply. On the Aussie SE there is a grommet on the fire wall to the left of the steering wheel which you can see if you remove the right hand cover over the hydraulic systems in the engine bay
