My neighbour's sister was dating a paediatrician from there.
She met him while covering a conference in Brisbane for a local rag.
He asked her to go over there to see him( a "ring job" actually),but after 3 weeks she was back.
He'd just taken a dept.head post and she thought she wasn't getting enough attention !!
Now she's married to a no-body with no cash,got 2 kids .....and told her sister she made
a really bad choice......... could have been living in luxury, a couple of homes, a yacht and driving an S500L.

No I wouldn't, we go to these places and fall in love with them because we are on holiday and relaxed. We have problems here, but where doesn't. I seriously thought about Brazil at one time. Decided against it in the end as we were planning a family and we felt that the UK provided a better environment fo young children.
The increase in the crime rate in Belem (SWMBOs home town) has meant moving their is not an option now.
I think I would chose Canada or France. Howver, I spent the last 5 days in Stander and that part of Spain has it's appeal too. Sharks: Natures way of telling surfers to get a job
