Sneak in via Nova Scotia Wink

They like Scottish types on the east coast - and French too.

Weird mix of Scrench culture - but very beautiful place Thumbs Up

.......DSL......

My neighbour's sister was dating a paediatrician from there.
She met him while covering a conference in Brisbane for a local rag.
He asked her to go over there to see him( a "ring job" actually),but after 3 weeks she was back.
He'd just taken a dept.head post and she thought she wasn't getting enough attention !!
Now she's married to a no-body with no cash, got 2 kids .....and told her sister she made
a really bad choice......... could have been living in luxury, a couple of homes, a yacht and driving an S500L.

No I wouldn't, we go to these places and fall in love with them because we are on holiday and relaxed. We have problems here, but where doesn't. If life gets too bad I'm just going to build a big wall around me, paint pretty pictures on it, stuff paper in my ears and hum the national anthem.

I seriously thought about Brazil at one time. Decided against it in the end as we were planning a family and we felt that the UK provided a better environment fo young children.

The increase in the crime rate in Belem (SWMBOs home town) has meant moving their is not an option now.

I think I would chose Canada or France. Howver, I spent the last 5 days in Stander and that part of Spain has it's appeal too.
