The handling of the ST was absolutely electrifying ....much better than a Golf GTI as a comparator. Powered by TorqTune
And God said, "Let there be bullshit !" ....and there was..... and it was good.

Not commenting on its abilities - I'm sure its amazing for the money and technically brilliant
Just the Chav Boy Racer looks and the types that seem to buy them.

I managed to sell a couple of RS2000s when I worked for a Ford dealership, never shifted any Cossies, although I had one as a company car for a while. And by "a while" I mean about 40 minutes. Scared the sugar out of me so I begged the dealer principle to put me into something I wouldn't kill myself in.
He gave me a Maverick. Carbon footprint? I neither know nor give a damn

So it's your fault he's on this forum If you are annoying me, just remember it takes 42 muscles for me to frown and only 4 to extend my middle finger, and I'm lazy so don't be offended.

If the colour doesnt put you off the torque steer will!
One of my neighbours has a bright orange ST- with orange interior.
Interestingly he works at Dagenham and says that manuals will be phased out on the DISCO3 with the new engine - is he talking or is that true? "its probably a virus, you'll be right as rain in a few days and if you're playing sport try to favour the other leg"

The RS has a specially developed diff to negate the torque steer.
Don't know why I'm bothering to post on this thread. Simon has it down as a chav mobile so he must be right
Next time I need to know about cars, I'll ask him...... Just like when I want a new PC.......
This is NOT a focus ST with a lurid paint job and a go faster stripe. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

No its a highly honed piece of hardware that is unfortunately bought by chav type boy racers who have only just worked out how to removed their bum fluff.

Nice bit of kit I think. I am an ex-RS2000 owner and RS owners club member and if I were in the market for a very hot hatch I would give this a serious look at much before I would look at a Golf, Astra or the similar....not sure about the green but I am sure there will be other colours available....tango orange or pineapple yellow
The RS badge has been a 'touch' devalued by some so called boy racers but like some have said it is fords 'serious' stuff and I think its a nice bit of kit.....granted JMC's Audi (the works one not that 'lightweight' poxy G reg ) would float MY boat a bit more.....but so would an RS200 or RS1700T
I take it no one is looking for a lime green D3 then ?? A few extra's.....
