Dog Guard

Just call Land rover dealer in Perth, they said they don't have the dog guard for the discovery 3. I know this ia available in USA and UK.

Anyone know where can get one. Does your dealer carry them ? Thanks

What about a cargo barrier, that will keep pooch in the back.

Mitchell Bros was doing a deal of cargo barrier with a tow hitch for a good price, but I think he has run out. Sad

Hi All,
The Dog Barrier is not available for Aust. Does not comply with ADR rules.
But the LandRover Cargo barrier is available & also rated.

Gidday noidea - I bought an Autosafe cargo barrier from Simon (simon_arch1) and am very happy with it. He posted it to me and I fitted it that same afternoon it arrived.

Can't help with the price as I bought mine quite a while ago and who knows, what with the price of fuel going up exponentionally, well, it could have risen more than a wee bit.

But see details of his product range here.

You might also want to check my Gallery for a photo in my Sliding Loadspace album.

IS that Cargo barrier compatible with Curtain airbags?

I know the barrier for a prado with curtain bags has recessed areas each side to allow the curtain bags to inflate properly if required.

(I know this as I had a prado on order when i fell in love with D3, cancelled the Prado and 3 days later was driving my new baby!!)
 ...it's on the other side!

Hi Dan W - Don't know if I can answer your question. Please talk to Simon directly as mine is a 5 seater but does have 2nd row airbags but not 3rd row.

The frame does not go right up to the sides of the vehicle. There is a space for the side airbags to deploy.

Also, for information, there is a placard affixed to the barrier that says "if the vehicle is fitted with side airbags then the load should be placed within the cargo barrier primeter frame".
