| Repairs to the Old Coach Road, Lake District Approved |
|
After the squabbles earlier in the year about using the Old Coach Road in the Lake District, several of you were offering assistance to make the repairs once they had been approved. Well the good news is that Cumbria County Council have approved the repair so as soon as we know when I'll let you know so you can volunteer to help out.
Thanks

Any chance you will get it fixed by the last 2 weeks of August Give a man a fire and he's warm for the day. But set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.

Sounds a plan. Don't rely on me to read the instructions properly
(very edited). All opinions expressed in this posting are my own and are not necessarily those of someone who knows what they are talking about.

Do we need to get permission off anyone before we go repairing things? Who can give us approval?
Are there any standards or regulations we need to abide by? I Wouldn't want to be accused of being an eco-vandal for putting the wrong kind of stones in the hole. Seriously.
rob, read the first post.
I think is says the council have approved the repair and GreenLaner will let us know Duncan

I'm up for this, depending on dates and there aren't many free ones for me in the near future If you are annoying me, just remember it takes 42 muscles for me to frown and only 4 to extend my middle finger, and I'm lazy so don't be offended.
