Mrs D is scared witless and thoroughly relieved at the same time. We're both still in shock (no pun intended) over this and it's really hit her hard, seeing me there on the crash table with my clothes ripped open, various sensors stuck all over me, needles being shoved in all the bits not covered in sensors and various machines going "bing!" in a Monty Python style while half a dozen of Dorchester's finest did there bit to keep me alive.
Hugely grateful that she took me seriously when I told her I thought I was suffering from anaphylactic shock and needed to get to the hospital. I'm also glad I recognised the symptoms for what they were and was able to communicate it before the swelling made communication more difficult. The onset was incredibly quick and we were very fortunate to be less than 10 minutes from A&E. Steve, who got us there, managed it in 6 minutes Going, going...... Gone!

Just a thought, you hadn't been eating Tuna or Mackerel had you?
Best of luck, BCP expo rack, xenons, knackered ball joints and a crumpled seat.

I've nver met you ND, but my thoughts are with you.
You've been a constant source of information and amusement since I found this site.
I hope you make a speedy recovery and find out what caused it pretty quickly.
All the best to you and Mrs Dosh.

Best of luck, BCP
One of the first questions the med team asked this morning when I was up to talking again. There were a variety of seafood canapes at the wedding we were at although not aware of them containing mackerel. There was definitely salmon and crab, but pretty certain no mackerel or tuna. I'd had asprin a while before the attack, had biscuits containing sesame and of course the seafood, so most of the common indicators represented! Doesn't make the path.teams job any easier Going, going...... Gone!
