Hi Al
Glad your OK !
Did hear Ken making a few threats but I never thought he would go through with it
Lets just hope its not alcohol or mud. (Could be all those exhaust fumes whilst putting in the bung )

Shocking stuff; not what I was expecting to read when I logged on tonight.
Take it easy and best wishes to you and Mrs Do$h, from the Jads family.

Thanks again folks and Warrior, that's a good plan. Seeing the GP this morning for a slightly less hurried discussion about allergy identification as the med team at the hospital were sliiiiiightly stretched yesterday.
Ferk me Andrew, that was a close one!!! Glad everyone is alright in Pishbridge Would I be right in thinking the drivers suffered mild fist-shaped abrasions to their faces as a result of their airbags going off Going, going...... Gone!

ND, I'm glad to hear that you are still with us.
In your situation you must be thinking along the same lines as someone I knew years ago - "Its a good day if I'm breathing and my heart's working without lots of mechanical things doing it for me"
Take care. Rob Smith

Bloody Hell Al, you don't do things by half do you! Glad you're OK buddy & if you need to find a home for those D3 accessories whilst you convalesce, just let me know...
On a serious note, a coleague of mine is severely alergic to Celery or any related celery pproducts or sauces with celery in. As part of our European coverage, he has instructions written in about 10 different languages to give to chef's/restaraunts/hotels to make sure he doesn't die!
Like you, he also carries adrenalin around with him 24/7.
Glad to have you back! Blimey Al, I came on here expecting to catch up on some hilarious banter from over the weekend, and you've spoilt it by posting some attention seeking drivel about a bit of a sore throat and mild palpitations. Must have been the shock after signing up for that new D3.....
Seriously mate, glad you are OK. Hope they identify the cause quickly so you can relax to a normal way of life again. If you are annoying me, just remember it takes 42 muscles for me to frown and only 4 to extend my middle finger, and I'm lazy so don't be offended.

Well. I had a very quiet weekend...
Terrifying tale, Al. Just logged on after quiet weekend. Frightening reading.
Only ever been the GP bit of that sort of tale. Experience tells me order of risk is
1. shellfish
2. fish
3. exotic fruits
4. nuts
5. milk
but since each of us is different your No.1 is what matters. Carrying the adrenalin is a VERY good idea and a laminated card that you can wave at someone.
Remember that seafood much older than 24 hours has different allergens in than fresh stuff (that's why it smells ); also unscrupulous producers feed antibiotics and other chemic to their animals. It helps to know exactly where your food comes from, but that does cost more than supermarket bargains.
Another favourite saying of mine was "Only eat what comes from the butcher, greengrocer and fruiterer and that you have cooked yourself (or SWMBO of course ); avoid ALL tins, packets, wrapped, pre-packaged and frozen food, drink or treats; that way you massively reduce the potential intake of allergens both natural and chemical. It's a good starting point, the safest guess, and then you can slowly add in new things, one by one..."
Good luck with it
