Radio lock up and squealing epb

While packing away the awning and tintent stuff my boy was sitting in the discovery playing around with the radio and when I switched on to start the journey home the radio was locked out and wouldn't do anything. Stopped at services on way home and when restarted after the radio was working ok. Arrived home and put on th epb only to hear a really loud squealing noise and park brake failure notice on the dash and various bonging and binging. Left car overnight and it was fine this morning and after various little trips throughout the day but just arrived home to be met by the same squealing sound. Car is now booked in at the dealers next tues but just wondered if this was a common fault with the epb, I seem to recall reading on hear that disco 3's don't function properly if the battery isn't fully charged perhaps this could be what affected the radio??

Cheers Andy

the radio could be battery voltage, the EPB fault has a small concern with screeching, normally down to poor adjustment of the hand brake shoes, reset the cables and adjust the shoes and then bed the shoes back in and should be ok, Very Happy Sheep
