| Need some help with BT phone system installation |
|
I have a Sony BT Car phone system I want to install, but I need to get at the rear of the Stereo, but can't figure the way to remove the system without damaging the dash or stereo.
Has anyone got info on how to remove the head unit, I've seen plenty of pics showing the head unit removed but nothing detailing how you get to this stage.
I have the following system: 6CD-465
thanks

welcome Grab the surround around the stereo near the bottom and pull hard towards the gearstick.Once removed you will need to undo the switch panel above the stereo first .. Undo the 2 torx screws ...then remove the 4 torx screws holding the stereo in place..
just be carefully of the orange fiber optic cable JAVA BLACK SE , MANUAL , PRIVACY GLASS , EBONY LEATHER , COLOUR CODED PARTS , SIDE PROTECTION TUBES , HIDDEN WINCH (12000 LBS) , 19" HSE WHEELS.
