Absolutely amazed - just had a week in Dartmouth - travelled from East Yorkshire to Devon and then returned via friends in Corfe Mullen (Poole). 900 miles in total and I wasn't spotted once - neither did I see one forum sticker on all the D3's I saw!
I was taught to be cautious.

I spent 3 days camping in the Peak district last month. I flashed and waved to every other D3 I saw (much to SWMBOs embarresment) of the 20-30 cars I saw I got 1 wave returned. Sharks: Natures way of telling surfers to get a job

Unless I see a Disco sticker, I don't bother flashing any more
Used to do it all the time until some woman looked at me as though I was something she would scrape of the bottom of her shoe

I wave at them all in the hope of getting 'spotted'. (Sad I know). I have decided that I will continue with my attempts to communicate with the more anti-social D3 drivers, because I believe that it intimidates them. I am certain most of them don't even realise that the car coming the other way and trying to attract their attention is indeed the same make and model as they are driving.
I put an orange sticker on the windscreen to increase my chances, but SWMBO didn't like it. It is now being used as a tax disc holder, which I think looks quite Sharks: Natures way of telling surfers to get a job
