Anyone know anyting about the ARB winch bumper for the D3?
Saw one at Eastnor a few weeks ago, verrry sexy, colour coded in Blue
Did wonder though, if I add one, does it affecr the airbags at all?
Isn't there something about crumple zones and deployment of airbags?

Hi Womble,
I have the ARB winch bumer fitted.
It is air bag compatible & is very strong as we can testify after crashing off the road on Croissiere Blanche 2007.
I also have a super winch x9+ in the bumper.
What else would you like to know?
I suspect that with recent changes in legislation, you may be too late though.
Try JJ @ Frogs Island 4x4 ( where mine came from) 01235 832100. He will put you right.
Non Stick Don't worry till there is some thing to worry about..

I also have one fitted. Excellent product.
I have a winch fitted. And twin aerials.
There are mount positions for two lights also. HSE TDV6 Silver. Roof rails, Adaptive lights, electronic diff. Now its time to add a few extra bits..... Dual Battery setup, ARB bar and winch... Need some decent tyres though

Hi,
I have the ARB non-winch bar. It was my first accessory (to counter those pesky 'roos).
As others have said, it is airbag compatible (which is probably why it costs about 2x that for any other LR to install).
Mine is black on a Buckingham Blue D3. Looks great!
Best Wishes,
Peter

Here is an Izmir blue one with out winch, looks the same except for the winch holes.
It also has good protection plates underneath bar. Only problems are that it gets in the road of turning lights and you can not use your front park assist if you have that fitted. Do not take life too seriously no one gets out alive anyway!
MY 8.5 Izmir Blue HSE Disco 3, ARB Bullbar, IPF HID spot lights, GME TX3440 all in mic UHF, Tripple batteries (2 x Yellow top aux under bonnet), Prodigy brake control, tinted widows, ARB compressor (under bonnet), Prem sound, Prem Nav, Electronic steering column, Adaptive lights, Center fridge, Active diff, Hybrid TV, Side moulds.
