They werent very helpfull in carphone warehouse ...and i ended up explaining to a customer how to get his iphone working on itunes as the staff were useless ..

i agree totally the staff there are u.s.
the only decent one is the manager but he isnt in today just the drones and as you say they know sweet fanny adams 
ebay have them but i would only do pick up only personally espec for that kind of money.

Just seen one on ebay for £940  and still 40 mins to go
