Just tries to book my vehicle in for its Identity Check....

apparently I can't until the investigation has run its course.....2 to 3 weeks apparently Neutral

They have even given me the excuses for when the police stop me Rolling Eyes
 really ought to change this.........

Spotter - I've never met you or your car, but I can tell you the Reg, Chassis number and the engine code of your D3!!!Shocked

Tell me I'm wrong.....:

Engine: 120*********76DT
Chassis: SAL***********447

Spotter I think you have found your first suspect, it was JMC who did it Shocked

Was the other car registered on the same date as yours as that would make it a dead ringer. What I can't understand is how you can register an identical car with the same VIN number under a different reg number unless it was done at the factory.

Data protection makes it a bit hard to find some stuff out.........

I rang LR, they don't make mistakes like that apparently Laughing

If you have the reg number you can get the reg date off the DVLA vehicle check.
