Yep black grill really working for me too, makes the car look wider, but I think thats just the perspective on the first shot, and D3 also parked in Access mode I think.
A-Bar's seem to be quite un-PC but unless you intend to collide with large animals at speed I can't really see the need (astetic reasons aside). I think it looks quite smart with just the winch... must... not... buy.... winch....

I'm not sure if it's the same with all the competing nations, but white G4s were used at the Nevada Passage event http://nevadapassagephotos.com/ I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?

Standard Mantec LR approved accessory if you use the LR winch tray - not sure if you can buy it from Mantec or only through LR? Craig

What a sight ...
Has me thinking down the road , the fact that they are diesel
After the event when these come up for sale.
Bring one into ireland .. convert it to commercial (i need it like this)
Pay 50euro for the VRT and because it commercial Diesel. I can put
it all thorough my Books. ...
The cheapest G4 I'll ever own.. One Wife.. Kill it ..

I've been thinking about this for a while too
G4 vehicles remain VAT qualifying in the UK when the first dealer gets them from L.R. The G4 in TDV6 guise could be a nice replacement for my current van..... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Unnecessary quote removed
Same here JMC ..
In Ireland regardless of it county of registration. you pay VAT and VRT. If i was to Convert to Commecrial
my VRT is 50 Euro and I get the VAT Back . what's crazy here was that the same machine imported in
and not convert to a "van" , the VRT would be 25.000K euro approx One Wife.. Kill it ..

That's assuming that the UK or other countries G4's are also Diesel
Which maybe they are ?
Personally I think it would be sacrilege to convert a G4 to commercial
But each to their own eh

All the 2009 event vehicles (90 ish with prescout vehicles) are Diesel RHD to HSE UK spec, and a larger proportion than usual are D3's So will be a good range to choose from!
Some of the competing countries use local vehicles for National Selections just stickered up with G4, hence the white ones in the US. EU countries can use event ready vehicles for selections if available. The event fleet will be used for International Selections, usually at Eastnor, prior to shipping to Mongolia.
As Zebadee says, it would seem sacrilege to convert a genuine event vehicle to a commercial. Why not just buy a commercial and put all the bit's on.. All available from Accessories and Mantec. A Silver G4... Best of both worlds!

Thanks for answering my question Craig
(been on hols, slow reply)
Just need to get impure thoughts about a winch I would never use out of my head now...
