Urgently Wanted, Desparately Wanted, by tonight!

Help, realy dropped a clanger!!!

Going on driving holiday tomorrow (leave 4.00am Tuesday 15th) to France.

Had my previous Tom Tom sat nav nicked and replaced it with a Garmin Nuvvi 610t.

However, unlike Tom Tom, YOU CANNOT download maps on line, you have to buy an pre-installed SD card, problem is no one has them over the counter, I know, I've rung 21 retailers listed on the site!!!

Does anyone have such a PRE-INSTALLED SD card for a Garmin Sat Nav for France/Europe that I can borrow from 15th - 27th July

PLEASE CALL ME, 07740 473349

I'm in Swindon, Wilts, can drive to meet you if not too far away or come to your doorstep.

Will be leaving around 4.00 am Tuesday 15th and heading to Eurotunnel, Folkestone via m4, m25, m20 if that helps, but my wife is going to chop me knackers off if I dont get it sorted Big Cry Big Cry

A friend was over from America recently and I am not sure what model he bought (I think it was 710), but when he registered they said he got a free update to the European maps. He registered using my address and all they sent through the post was a new CD with a unlock code and he could download the maps to his existing SD card. The odd thing is that according their website you have to buy an SD card, but he only got a CD. I would check what it says, but the CD is at home as it arrived after he left so he told me just to hold onto it until he came back over.

Maybe you could phone Garmin UK and ask them if you can get France somehow. Tel: + 44(0)23 8052 4000

thanks so far for your suggestions, yes I can buy one, but no we will not be hear to recieve it, we are leaving tomorrow morning at 4.00am Big Cry

what I need is someone who has a pre-installed sd card that I assume I can just simply slot in to the side of me garmin (sd slot on most garmins).

I think I am a day late, but you can get the map update online at Garmin.com as a download, and update your unit, should not matter if you are updating internal memory or SD card.

Just been looking today at getting 08 maps, mainly because the pre-loaded 07 maps do not know where the mother in law lives - some say this is a bonus!
