What about the lower-spec models that don't have the color-coded bumpers - does the center section of the front bumper remain painted as in the current model or does the whole thing go unpainted?

Does'nt look like it...all specs come colour coded now
The only way round it will be to buy a set of non painted trims and sell the paintable versions to someone
who wants to upgrade a bit You want it for how much !!!!!

Yep, the website really is a mish mash of old and new models.
Nice to see they've screwed this up as well as the D3 Blessed are the cracked, for they shall let in the light.

So looking at the LR web site... you can now have the 2009 model with the styling pack. So if you pay a bit more you can have the old black back bumper back! (I know it's got a valence for the exhaust - but really) I don't think LR even know where they're going with the styling on this one.

Actually quite like the front bumper on that one (at least from the side) - the roof rails are idiotic and the spoiler in the back is awful. Also don't love that you can see the exhaust from the side...
Of course all of this would be ripped clean off on the first trip offroad.

The base 09MY gets the fully painted front bumper, pre-09MY rear. --
What the hell do I know?
