One of my neighbours had their 7 month old puppy run down dead last week. It was runniing around on their drive when a visitor pulled up - the car was going at a very sedate pace.

If it's a small dog put some bluetac on its belly and stick it on your dash, saves you having to insure with Churchill Wink

To be serious, the vet will proberly make a few stabs at a diagnosis and charge you for the guesswork Rolling Eyes

Well have been to the vet, spent 30 minutes checking him over. To be honest the first thing they suggested was some sort of poisoning. They saw him doing it at the surgery and had to dig out the text books as they hadn't seen it before.

They did all the nuerological tests which were fine, heart and lungs etc.

They took two blood samples which they are checking tonight and will have the results tomorrow.

He was with me at the office day before yesterday which is on a farm and it is possible he may have eaten something or closer to home maybe some slug pellets (not in our garden though).

Hopefully it will just clear his system. Poor lads been through it the last couple of months.

If the dog has been poisoned it isn't going to be running around and behaving normally!

Unfortunately suddenly this afternoon he started to get lethargic and it was more than just his head affected, which is why I decided to take him to the vet so quickly. This evening he is not interested in playing at all, so it's all a bit of a mystery.

He is still interested in food though, which is good. The strange thing is that if you get his attention with a toy he stops and when he starts to relax it starts again, but is not just his head now it affects his whole body.
