| LRO - Peterborough Showground - 13-14th Sept 2008 |

Thought i'd get this one into the mix. Seeing as i've missed all the other events upto now (Driffields, Billing etc etc) due to working, i'm hoping to get down to this one either camping or for one day - depending on family/friends thoughts.
Is anyone planning to go to this (seeing as it also wasn't on last year - apparently not true, my mistake  ).
Anyone been before? Is it worth going?

Peterborough was on the 8th/9th of September last year.
I organise a club stand for another Land Rover club and have done for the last 5 or so years, I think it's a good show - providing it doesn't rain, you take your choice, some folk like these sort of show some don't.
You can obviously pay at the door and pay more, we are paying £25 for the weekend pass, incl 2 adults and 2 kids by prebooking.
There is plenty of room there for a Disco 3 stand if enough are interested. and as most who have attended will know everyone can arrange to camp together. Silver TDV6 S with sat nav, PTI and Moosed up a bit

I am just about to book for the weekend including camping (taking the tin tent)  and thought I'd see if anyone else was planning to attend. Son and heir to the overdraft is trying to get me to take my disco 300 tdi as well as the D3 so he can go offroad in it rather then my beast... Well mine is currently on 19in Scorpions  and the 300 is on General AT2's. Imissed Billing this year but went last year in the monsoon..... all part of the fun I suppose. 
Never been to Peterborough yet so thought I'd give it a go... 
Planning to arrive Friday PM and leave Sunday after its all finished.... Anyone else?????

i have been to almost all of the shows in the last 8 years, as a trader with foundry 4x4 and as one of the joe blogs. i have even helped out with the discovery owners club at their first show,
i think all the show great it gets you out of the house you meet lots of new people spend lots of money and look at land rovers for hours on end 
this will be my first trip with a disco 3

i think that perterbro' is getting better, and we enjoy it, there again its only half hour down the A1 for us. we were going for the day, but there again if there chance of a get together am sure alison can get the weekend off and bring the cvan down. wouldthe first time we camped over at a show.
