We also had to wait 4 hours for a passport a few years ago,
The girl in the passport office handed back our paperwork and told us to return in 4hours, when asked what we could do in Newport for 4hrs her answer was immediate, "The only thing to do in Newport for 4 hours is to go to CARDIFF".
Believe me she is right, why not take the train to Cardiff only 15mins and a couple of quid (a lot cheaper than trying to park in Cardiff) cinema is right by the station or take a trip around Millenimum Stadium.
Cheers
Mark

Not that you'd want to leave your car in Newport station car park, loads of street parking but they operate a very unvisitorfriendly voucher scheme. Honda Dog U better DUCK!!!!!

I'm getting a really warm & fuzzy feeling about Newport and wondering why i haven't been there before......
I couldn't get in at Liverpool & Peterborough is a pain to drive to....
I think we'll drive out to Cardiff!

Hate to say this Bodsy, but you probably know this if you've listened to the news.....there's a three day strike at the Passport Office
