Take Spotters advice and start drinking heavily.
You being a seasoned member of this forum, I assume you've checked the brake light bulbs already. Sharks: Natures way of telling surfers to get a job

As your speedo stopped working it's likely a rear wheel speed sensor fault.. Quite often the wiring, not the sensor. It could also be the front one, but the speedo keeps working then I believe.. Happened to me a few months ago. Drove 100 miles in access height, not that comfortable!
On mine the wiring had been chaffed when the compressor was changed and eventually rotted through. I had all the lights and symptoms you have. The cabling runs along side the compressor mounting brackets.
Hope it's only this as it's not to big a deal!! A Silver G4... Best of both worlds!

Well i do have an iffy battery and i swapped a the brake/standard lights around in Tunisia...would that be the case?
Also i have had a compressor changed, is the chaffed wire visable XTC?...if so ill argue about shoddy workmanship
Didnt realy want a trio to the dealer this early and was thinking of going to an independant.
Anyone know of a decent one in Surrey/Berkshire? "you cannot teach stupid people to do clever things"

When I had the same with my old one (you know, the one I had before I got a new one from Yeovil )it was NSR wheel speed sensor. A stone had got in and smashed it. Same result as a chafed or broken wire to the same sensor it seems. Amusingly it happened in the middle of a ford. Ooooh did I whimper as it sank to access height mid stream Going, going...... Gone!
Carbon footprint? I neither know nor give a damn
