Atera Strada Bike Rack users - 4 bike option

Hi All - anyone out there using the Atera Strada 3 bike rack WITH the extra 4 bike addon ???

i have been using mine without the 4th bike addon for some time (and love it) but i have just added the 4th bike slot onto it.

unfortunately - my german is non-existant and the manual indicates that you should use straps to secure the rack to the roof with this option. The blurb about this is all in German so I have no clue what it is on about.

i am wondering if anyone bothers with this - looks c%&p to have to do this.
