I work at LR and see some horrors that dealers have caused come back to factory. Its just a lottery out there.

He has quite a good name as far as I know, prices slightly on the steep side but allegedly the vehicles he sells are of the 'highest qality' Smile when I was looking for a price on my D2 a few years back his offer was very fair, especially as I wasn't actually buying the new one from him.
 one day we'll all know, until then just pretend we do....

So are you going to / able to name and shame and pass on your knowledge of the offending dealers

Also what sort of Jobs do dealers stuff up ?

Good customer service is not rocket science Twisted Evil

My dealers great, so are many others... kick the bad ones up the arse and tell them they will lose their franchise if they don't improve. Simple.

And tell your 'people' to actually listen to customer feedback on both the dealer network and issues that the D3 has... EPB for one.

Had my D2 serviced there for 3 years when the LR warranty had ran out. Very happy. Can't say it was the cheapest, but at least it came back and felt as though someone had looked at it, with items corrected/adjusted that the main dealer never did get to fix properly. Pleasant and helpful.
