From http://www.koni.com/index.php?id=254
" Discovery 3
Specially designed for OEM Air- Suspension equipped models only] 04-08 FSD 2100-4069 "
no more info that I can find
Wonder what the damping rates are compared to the original?
And the price?
Who is the local agent? Remap and TTBox available for most vehicles

Spoke to the local agent. Will bring them in if you require a set. only been on the market for 2 months . just under 10 for a set. Its an FSD shock. some new fancy technology. it will stiffen on smooth surface and soften up on the rough. Low pressure nitrogen shock with large oil capacity. was thinking Deon should get a set and test them for us. there is one set on order.

OK, this is a really stupid question..
Do air suspension Disco 3's need shocks? I thought that big air suspension thingy was the shock? Or does that replace the springs?
Don't laugh but I have never seen something that resembles a shock absorber.

The air bags replace the coil springs - the shocks sit inside the airbags which have a hole in the middle .

Had D3 at 3 independent "experts" and they reckon nothing wrong with existing shocks. After repairing puncture the wheel was inflated to 3.5 bar and the D3 really did some break dancing - even my wife commented on it.
Still not too happy - would like you guys opinion when we have our next tea party - excluding Baben of course being used to his F1 suspension D3 S '07. Dual battery system. Upgraded tow hitch. Mantec skid plate. Frontrunner rr.
Defender TD5 110 CSW '00. "With everything"

Deon, Boet, I will give you my opinion in writing, having driven your vehicle, it is UNSAFE with those dampers. Granted I am a bit spoilt with my Spiros shocks, but I routinely drive quite a few different D3's with standard shocks and whilst I feel the standard vehicle is underdamped, yours are just plain not working.
Take the vehicle to Nico, put him and Dewalt and Stephen in the back, and drive them over a few speedhumps till they submit Remap and TTBox available for most vehicles
