I'ts been Censored ing down up here, dithering whether to put MTRs on for this event. Anyone experienced the Dunkeld LRE course after a soaking, how is it in the wet on road tyres??? Question Question

I've done this a couple of times. 1st time it was chucking it down and used their D3 HSE on normal tyres. I managed everything without a problem, including 'the dell' and coming back through the 'pond' in reverse up the difficult route.

Second time was at the D3.co.uk day out. Bone dry all over, hardly any water or mud, even up in the forest tracks.

Your road tyres will be fine Derek, but the MTR's will be better Mr. Green

Roofers ladder in place still, lots of hammering noises & slates going up ladder so all going well. Back on topic, MTRs fitted by Speyside tyres so ready to play.

Just back from excellent day out. Good to meet Rescue01, just to reassure myself that there is enough rom in his D3 for a proper beer fridge for Tunisia (I bring the Takla, he brings the beer!!! Snigger ). Good afternoon up in the forest, morning was unchallenging fun, far more interesting than the A9. Takla came in useful when a D2 had a puncture. They may try and organise a more challanging day if enough DISCO3.CO.UK interest as the "public" days are limited by the lowest ability/confidence/courage etc. Any interest?? No idea on date, cost, whetehr it will go ahead at this stage as they need minimum numbers (10 or 12 I think) for it to be viable. Watch this space! Very Happy Very Happy

Interested too.

They hadn't heard of DISCO3.CO.UK when I was there in June. Which staff did you speak to?
