Hi there all,is anyone from here going to the bring your own vehicle day on Sun 24th at Dunkeld LRE???
i am going and hope it continues raining till then
You can still book i think if you call 01350 728700.
I am not connected in any way with them.
You get to try the training course in the morning with instruction if needed then you go onto some nice landrover tracks up in the hills, not to challenging but fun. Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

Went on one of these just after I got the disco - thought it would be a nice easy run through the forest! No way - up hills, down mud and rocks through streams - a good day out for all!

Hi DSL yes it's not cheap at £100 per vehicle(but you get free coffee )
you can check out www.highlandoffroad.co.uk
Starts at 9 ish and finishes about 4pm,you travel in convoy all day
you can fit in as many people as you have seatbelts.

Don't think so, it's £5 per event for non members so pretty good value. Will prob join up anyway now I live up here. The green lane trip end of last year was great up in the snow, esp once I got the tyre pressures down & got some grip.

Hi
SLROC don't turn anyone away from these events be they do prefer if you join the club. The membership fees are due in October and they are £25. Green Road runs are £5, TYRO's £10, RTV's £15 and driving days are £20 which are open to any 4X4's.
Cheers
Hope to see you all on the 31st?
