The 3 day eventers did brilliant, especially Tina Gifford I used to compete against her as a kid and occasionally beat her too!
If any of you reckon you'd have the balls to do the competition then you can comment DS3 TDV6 HSE

Our best horse wasn't able to go, Kristina's horse is very inexperienced but did fantastically well. Unlike any other sports at the Olympics you are relying on an animal with little brain that has been flown to the otherside of the world, they get unsettled as happened in the dressage element where we lost most of our points. Unfortunately  happens on the day. Most eventers struggle to make ends meet, the cost of running a yard, horsebox and buying the horses means that much of their time is spent on other animals rather than the one going to the games. For instance when Zara Phillips' horse went lame it gave Kristina just 8 weeks to prepare.
In many respects a dentist who has a great income coming in from his practise has more time to prepare his horse than a so called professional. DS3 TDV6 HSE
