| Bluetooth repeatedly connects and disconnects |
|
I use my LG phone in the car. It worked fine for a few months but for the last couple of months it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every 3 or 4 minutes or so. The phone jingles and "Phone attached" or Phone removed" is displayed on the car display.

Try pairing a different phone as a process of elimination ...if it works fine then it will be your LG that has the issue...if not it's your LR Powered by TorqTune

jkp - thanks for your suggestion - it may have been the solution
DG - I'll give it a go, but I suspect it won't make much difference. 2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey, Ebony Leather, Tin Tenter

My LG played up a lot. Not displaying phone book and all sorts of things. Switched it off (away from Land Rover) re paired it and it's been fine ever since Global Warming.... I'm luvvin it.

I had the same problem with my 08.5MY HSE and ended up getting the stealer to replace the Bluetooth module. Touch wood, I have only had the thing repeat once in the last few weeks with the new Bluetooth module.
All done under warranty Engage Permagrin - check
Key in ignition - check
Turn key - check
Keep smiling....

True, I get a constant signal all the time now in the Disco, just can't access the phone book at times, but I can live with that. Also owning a Defender TD5 I always put things like this down to being "Just another Landrover thing" Highbayrack, AKA; Betty Swollocks

Been to dealers for service - says my phone isn't compatible. Couldn't explain why it was OK for 6 months.
Spoke to LCR centre - said phone signal strength not enough!!
Still looking for a solution folks.
PS Dealer replaced both ball joints - said they were prematurely worn (at 15000 miles!) 2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey, Ebony Leather, Tin Tenter
