Neil
The car and van were bogged so badly that and 80 series cruiser
with a 5 metre run up could only snatch it a a foot a time.
After i let the tyres down to 12psi the D3 basically drove itself out Peter

Hi Black Perth and Gordon.
Thanks for the kind offer. Not sure quite what dates we'll be in Perth as we plan to meander along the way. We are looking to take a 4x4 track which heads off from Balladonia to Israelite Bay, which I believe is quite an interesting drive - either of you know anything about the condition? From there we'll head thru Esperence, Albany, Margaret River et al and finally to Perth. We still have to decide where to from there - maybe up to Geraldon, we'll see how the time is going.
We leave Adelaide this Sunday and are going to Pt Lincoln for a day or two, so given we will be in no rush, I'd anticipate we might arrive in Perth anytime between about the 10th - 15th. Haven't determined where we'll stay yet, but given we will have the camper trailer with us it will be a caravan park - probably beachside somewhere. Do you have any recommendations?
Cheers,

Martin, not sure about the condition of track you mention - other than I've seen t mentioned in various 4wd publications and its supposed to be agreat drive. As for Caravan Parks here in Perth - defnitley no idea - sorry ! Gordon, or other WA members might know of some?? There is one beachside at Coogee Beach, which is about 10 mins south of Fremantle, but I have no idea whether its any good. 2006 SE TDV6, remapped 185Kw, 545NM; Java / black leather; LR roof DVD; LR Expedition rack / LR ladder; LR side steps; LR light guards; OL drawer system; Elec trailer brake controller; 3 extra 12V hella sockets; LR raised air intake; ARB bar; Lightforce spotties; OL rear wheel carrier; Long Ranger 115 litre sub-tank; GME 3440 UHF; TPMS; Traxide/Optima yellow / National Luna dual battery monitor; 6 x 18inch rims with General Grabber AT2's; Mitchell Bros tow hitch; OBIES rear window protector.

Hello everybody,
I do apologise for the slight delay in moving this along - I was down with a bad chest infection the past week. The doctors thought it was pneumonia at one stage but thankfully it wasn't that and I am much recovered now.
Most of you have already sent your payments in - thank you. I will be sending the money to 4x4 Intelligence on Monday. A couple of you have sent cheques by snail mail. I haven't received the cheques yet but I will pay for you guys first and bank the cheques when they arrive. This way, we don't delay the entire group purchase.
Have a great weekend!
Cheers

Thanks Black Perth. We're off tomorrow, so we'll see how it pans out. Raining here, so hopefully it'll clear as we go further West. If you happen to see a white Disco with a Campamatic on the back give us a call. I'll PM you with our number. Not making any specific plans at this stage, as we don't know when or how long we'll be in Perth.

Hi chaps.
Anybody heard from eran48? I hoped we'd be good to go this weekend, but I've not had any luck getting in touch with e48. And now I am copping grief from the beloved 'cause she reckons e48's case of beer is taking up all the room in fridge!

Hi guys,
I'm still here. Unfortunately, the plates did not arrive in Sydney this week.
I'll be checking with Simon to see what's happening.
I'll let you know as soon as I find out.
Cheers.
