Andrew, I'm happy to take that case of beer off you first to save you further grief

All - just dealing with the vagaries of international shipping - hopefully they'll be here early this week.
Will keep you updated.

Hello everybody,
Looks like Simon is coping a bit of grief with the supplier. Everyone was caught a bit off guard at the size of this group buy. We were expecting about 4 -6 plates initially for the group buy but the final number came to 16!
The first shipment that was due to Sydney a couple of weeks ago was cancelled by the supplier when they found out that these plates were part of their full underbody kit and they were not willing to break the kit apart.
The expectation is that all the plates will be shipped in one go and arrival is sometime beginning of October.
I apologise for this delay - especially for those people who were hoping to have the plate installed before going on their trips
I know Simon is doing all he can to move things along.
Cheers.

Hi razzle,
Full payment had already been made to Simon Arch at 4x4 Intelligence.
I had an e-mail from him a couple of days ago and he was still trying to get some firm delivery dates.
I found out that the plates are actually Rasta 4x4 plates - pretty good reviews on their products.
Check out the pricing in the UK:
http://www.roverworld.com/rasta4x4_english.htm - 355 pounds plus vat!!

Hi Sonny
I know you have organised this in good faith, but it is nearly 40 days since payment was made.
I need a realistic update on delivery/situation. If this is not acceptable then I want my funds back. Trust me, what could go wrong?

Hi razzle,
I'm sorry you are upset about this delay. I've spoken to Simon Arch about this.
Can you please provide him with your bank details and we'll get your money back to you. Remember that Simon had also gone ahead and ordered those plates in good faith. He will have to hold and re-sell your plate.
I have asked Simon to reply to this thread and provide us with additional information on what is causing the delay.
All I can say is that Rasta 4x4 in Israel is really not doing their own reputation a lot of good in Australia by screwing us around like this. They may have fantastic products but it is pretty dreadful how they support their dealers who try to sell their products in this country. I hope Rasta 4x4 management reads this thread and get off their butts and do something about this. Do we have anybody in Israel who can pop into their head office and give their collective ar a good kick?
