| Sorry. Another Newbie/Bluetooth/Blackberry Question? |
|
Just bought a 57 plate HSE. Got a Blackberry Pearl 8300. When I get in the car it connects fine but soon after turning the engine on it disconnects. Have checked all the phone settings and they are as suggested on this website. Anyone having similar issues and got any advice?

there has been a few threads on this with the Blackberry / LR connectivity, I was always under the impression that once paired the code needs not be entered again. I am an iphone owner with a Parrot installation, much better than original equipment. You could get a Parrot kit to run off the LR buttons, cheap on ebay. PERMANENTLY IN THE SITE NAUGHTY CORNER

jcbdigger1970.......
Cheers, its not asking me for the code again it, I just have to go into the phone and re-connect the bluetooth to the car. Frustrating as the handsfree is good.

if 57 plate means 05 model than it supports BT1.1 ans 1.2.
I believe up to date telephones tend to use BT 2.0, which is not supported on a 05 disco. Some people get by
With a little understanding
Some people get by
With a whole lot more
I donīt know
Why you gotta be so undemanding
