tis a pulling of the leg, have you done a search in the gallery and seen people's installation pictures? Also, you can read the instructions for yourself on the landrover site at http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com so you know exactly what has to be done to fit the RAI.
There is some drilling involved from what I remember from reading them myself.

They do look great fitted, and I want to be practical. Twice in the last two years I have had an emergency run to Gloustershire to help relatives in floods. Maybe this time I wont have to panic. I my TD5 once I have an impressive bow wave for about 3/4 mile........................4x4 haters love us when its the only way to get about.
The wife's aunt hates the D3, says its too high, even when on park setting, but in the floods she commented she may get one, only to buy a JIMNEY PERMANENTLY IN THE SITE NAUGHTY CORNER

Don't forget its just a raised intake, not water tight - however if you want that I believe Non Stick Nick has a "snorkel" not just a raised intake and can advise! (told you they were a knowledgeable bunch!)

You have nothing to worry about, being in the concrete business you will be used to filling large holes in, just take a bag of mortar with you to help fix it on
